Glasgow’s/Edinburgh’s all female group Teencanteen played the closing night of the Edinburgh International Film Festival (along with Huevo and the Giant and Merseault). They performed a short but perfect set, including their song, “How We Met (Cherry Pie)” featured on the closing night’s film, Not Another Happy Ending and Strength in Numbers’ personal favourite “One More Night”. Mixing a lo-fi aesthetic with strong harmonies (and some wry lyrics), lead vocalist Carla Easton and her band-mates are not shy about singing in their own accents.
